All of the Cedant web hosting plans come with their own web-based control panel.
The control panel has many different icons that link to various tools, documentation, and online account management sections.
 
File Manager

The File Manager tool is a web-based FTP interface.This tool can be used to organize, upload, download, delete, and rename files or directories, and much more.

When setting up your file structure, please keep these simple rules in mind.

CGI Scripts

You can place your CGI scripts into any directory and they will work, as long as the names end with ".cgi" or ".pl." You can omit those extensions, however, ONLY if you place your CGI scripts in the "cgi-bin" folder.

Webalizer

Your siteís statistics are recorded by a program called Webalizer. The stats folder is where Webalizer stores its data.The logs directory in this folder contains your raw access logs.These logs are archived and rotated every day, and kept for one month.

HTML Folder

You need to put all of your websiteís content (HTML files, images, audio/video files, etc.) in the HTML folder.CGI scripts can also be placed in this folder if you wish (see CGI Scripts note above).

www

The www is not an actual directory.It is a symbolic link that allows your site to appear when a user types the "www" in front of your domain name.
