All of the Cedant web hosting plans come with their own web-based control panel.
The control panel has many different icons that link to various tools, documentation, and online account management sections.

The Archive Manager tool will create a single, compressed archive file in the tar.gz format from all the files you select in a particular directory.

cedant.com encourages you to periodically archive your website files as backups. When you generate an archive file, Archive Manager will utilize the current time and date for the filename, making it easy for you to recover a specific earlier version. 

NOTE: If you make changes to your site and then decide to revert to a previous version, you will have it readily available as a compressed archive.
