SSH is a command-based connection that encrypts data transported across the Internet.This secure shell program permits you to logon to another computer over a network, execute commands on a remote machine, and move files from one machine to another. SSH provides strong authentication and secure communications over Internet channels.

Because the SSH feature is for advanced users with a working knowledge of UNIX, a Standard or Advanced plan is required. To upgrade, please fax a copy of your Photo ID or Drivers License to 913-890-7705 and include your registration number and main FTP username with your request.Once we have received and authenticated the faxed information, cedant.com's UNIX administrator will set up the shell account for you.
